Kulp's Participates in Community Service Day with Rebuilding Together New Orleans

On February 23, Kulp's of Stratford participated in a Community Service Day in New Orleans, in conjunction with the International Roofing Expo (IRE) that was held in the city later that week. The event was sponsored by Sika Sarnafil, a roofing materials manufacturer, and drew in volunteers from across the roofing industry.  The volunteers built fences, painted, and installed rain gutters for two homeowners still rebuilding in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina.  Overseeing the work were members of the group Rebuilding Together New Orleans, a continuing volunteer effort to improve the quality of life for low income homeowners. John Kulp represented Kulp's in an effort that was much appreciated by Idella and Ina, owners of the respective properties.
