When St John Lutheran Church in Watertown, Wisconsin, decided to undertake a major renovation project on its historic house of worship, they chose Kulp's of Stratford to replace a slate roof that had adorned the building for many decades. The Kulp's team had two truckloads of roofing slates shipped in from a Vermont quarry, and is in process of installing them. The north tower has been completed, as shown in the photos, and the crew is currently working on the south tower and on the south slope ot the roof. This large and complex project will take a few months to complete, and we expect the entire roof to look as sleek and classic as the dome now does.
